SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made one enforced change to his starting line-up for tonight’s clash at Peterborough with Ryan Inniss returning to the team.
Inniss replaces the injured Anton Ferdinand but the rest of the team remains unchanged with Michael Timlin lining up in midfield.
Timlin’s wife gave birth to the couple’s first child last night but the midfielder still made himself available for the game.
Further forward, Marc-Antoine Fortune partners Simon Cox in attack with Theo Robinson and Nile Ranger both on the bench.
Ryan Leonard skippers the team in the absence of Ferdinand.
Southend United: Smith, Demetriou, Thompson, Inniss, Coker, Timlin, Leonard, Wordsworth, McGlashan, Fortune, Cox
Subs: Bexon, White, O’Neill, Amos, Nouble, Robinson & Ranger
