STOCK Shotokan Karate Club won a superb 21 trophies and medals in the Presentation Cup Karate Championships.
It was the first competition of the year for the Thundersley-based club in Clacton and they excelled throughout.
The stand-out performer was 16-year-old Eloise Platt and Skye Taylor, 10, who both took gold in their kata events.
Skye also teamed up with nine-year-old Henri Goddard and came first in the pairs kata.
Club members who excelled to win second place trophies and medals were Jason Sanchez, Samuel Campbell, Annalisa Marano, Lee Brittney, Harry Russell and Henri Goddard.
Jason, Samuel, Annalisa, Harry, Eloise and Skye, plus Charlotte Stanford and Connor Coleman won third-placed trophies.
It was also a night to remember for Sensei Adam Purkiss, who was presented a coaching award by representatives of the English Classic Championships.
