l RUNDOWN: It is back-to-back Friday matches for Bowers & Pitsea as they look to get the better of play-off rivals Thurrock for the third time this season.
Bowers beat Fleet in the reverse fixture and defeated Mark Stimson’s side in the FA Trophy at Ship Lane.
Former Fleet man Brad Warner has inspired Bowers run against them so far this season - with three goals in those games.
Fourth-placed Thurrock sit five points ahead of sixth-placed Bowers, having played a game more.
l MANAGER’S VIEW: Bowers manager Rob Small said: “It is important to put some perspective on this fixture.
“Thurrock and Bowers should only be playing each other in a pre-season friendly - such is the gulf in stature between the clubs. It is a complete mismatch in honesty.
“We will enjoy playing under the lights tonight, we enjoy filling the role of underdog and we enjoy being able to play football without pressure.
“Thurrock are a top quality footballing side so I hope there will be a big crowd and we will do our best to make a game of it.”
l TEAM NEWS: Ross Adams and Callum Leahy are suspended.
