BILLERICAY Town’s FA Cup first qualifying round match against Didcot Town will be broadcast live on the BBC.
Town welcome the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South & West team to the AGP Arena next Saturday.
And the match will be broadcast across the BBC’s digital channels, with kick-off brought forward to 12:30pm.
Match of the Day commentator Conor McNamara and former Southend United defender Chris Powell will cover the match.
It follows a successful trial in the preliminary round, in which South Shields and Bridlington Town did battle, with viewers from across the world tuning in to watch the tie.
Town, of the Isthmian Premier League, are the talk of non-league following the investment of steel magnate Glenn Tamplin.
Town now boast former Premier League quality, including Paul Konchesky, Jamie O’Hara and Jermaine Pennant.
The winners of the tie will pocket £3,000.
