SOUTHEND Rugby Club's players will have their last chance to impress coach Kevin Harman ahead of the new National League Two season tomorrow.
For the Seasiders will complete their pre-season schedule with a trip to Havant.
And Harman is demanding a committed display from his side.
"We have real competition for places now, especially in the backs," he said.
"So with this being our last friendly it's their final opportunity to show me they want to be in the team for the opening league match of the season."
Harman will be using the trip to Hampshire as a warm up for the big kick off against Stourbridge at Warners Bridge next weekend.
"We shall be using it as a dummy run for the start of the league," he said.
"I have been pleased with the pre-season games against Esher and Canterbury so far and we want to keep that going."
