HULLBRIDGE Sports moved into third place in the Essex Senior League standings after claiming a 2-1 win over Stansted.
Luke Hornsley gave Darren Manning's side a seventh minute lead, but the visitors were back on level terms soon after as Carl Mullings got his name on the scoresheet.
However, Sports were to secure all three points thanks to a thunderbolt from Andre Gumbs on the hour mark.
Meanwhile, Southend Manor lost 2-1 to Hoddesdon Town.
Hoddesdon took the lead, but Adam Peek's side hit back by getting back on level terms before the break.
However, Hoddesdon clinched all three points as the visitors found a winner.
