THERE were defeats for Concord Rangers and Canvey Island in the Isthmian Premier Division tonight.
Second from bottom Concord were beaten 2-0 at home by Potters Bar and are now 12 points behind Cheshunt who sit just above the relegation zone.
Canvey remain 16th after losing 2-1 at home to Horsham.
Horsham took a two goal lead before Jamie Salmon netted for the Gulls just two minutes into the second half.
Horsham’s win moved them third in the table with Billericay dropping to seventh.
In the Essex Senior League, 12th placed Great Wakering Rovers lost 1-0 at third placed Romford.
