Essex Senior Cup: A much-improved performance from Billericay Town saw them through to a fourth round date at Ryman Premier rivals AFC Hornchurch next month.
Town ran riot with a five-star show for which hosts Harlow Town had literally no answer.
Although the hosts did not field their strongest line-up, it takes nothing away from a spirited Billericay performance that ended with a 5-0 success.
Rikki Burbridge scored a first-half hat-trick, but home keeper James Hassell was injured trying to save the first goal.
Without a regular stopper on the bench, outfield player Craig Charles went between the sticks.
Leading scorer Billy Bricknell completed the nap hand with a second-half brace – his second catching a wicked deflection on its way into the Harlow net.
But, whatever the circumstances, this was a welcome result for Town.
