Ryman Premier League: Canvey Island were in top form last night as Boreham Wood were swept away 4-0 at Park Lane.
Captain Craig Davidson was on the spot with two successful penalties last night as Gulls maintained their promotion challenge.
After Gabriel Fanibuyan had given the hosts a fourth minute lead, man of the match Davidson netted his first penalty following a 20th minute handball.
Stuart Ainsley grabbed a third – the third consecutive match in which he has scored – with a great effort on 47 minutes and Davidson wrapped up the scoring on 61 minutes with his second penalty following a foul on Fanibuyan.
