BASILDON Athletic Club’s Kim Wall is hoping to be in action for Great Britain in the Indoor European Championship in Turin this weekend.
Wall has been named in the squad for the 4x400m relay and is keen to make the final four for the straight final which will take place on Sunday.
The other big date on the athletics scene this weekend is tomorrow’s UK inter-counties cross-country championship in which a host of south-east Essex runners will be in action for the county at Nottingham.
Extra incentive for the older age groups is that they will be bidding for places in the Great Britain team for the World Cross-Country Championships in Jordan.
The whole event will get major TV coverage from Sky Sports with live transmission from 11am to 3.30pm.
