SOUTHEND Rugby Club were beaten 24-23 at home to Stourbridge this afternoon.
The Seasiders were 19-10 down at the break, despite a converted try from Maso Bowles and a penalty from Andrew Frost.
Jake Sharp also went over for a try in the second half which Frost converted.
He also kicked another two penalties but it was not enough to stop Southend's depressing run of results and they have now lost 14 league games in a row.
