BASILDON Athletics Club’s Kim Wall has helped Great Britain claim a silver medal in the 4x400m relay at the European Indoor Championships in Turin.
Wall ran a solid second leg in a split time of 52.7 seconds and was delighted to help the team – which also included Donna Fraser, Vicki Barr and Marilyn Okoro - finish just behind Russia.
“I managed to hold my position on my leg and I’m really pleased to have helped us finish second,” said Wall.
Britain’s quartet finished in a time of 3:30.42 minutes with Russia winning in 3:29.12 mins.
