COLIN Cook, manager at Basildon United for part of last season, is the new first team boss of Bowers and Pitsea.
His assistant will be Gary Morris.
An Essex Senior League club completed the season with another trophy when Takeley ended their campaign by winning the Capital Counties Feeder League’s Anagram Records Trophy.
They took the prize 3-1 on penalties against Park Street Village after the final had finished 2-2 at the end of extra-time.
