PREMIER DIVISION: Basildon & Pitsea drew away to Upminster V after being bowled out for 185.

Tony Williams (44), John Bedford (36) and Steve Healey (30) anchored, while Stewart Hammond (3-24) and Peter Williams (3-42) did the damage.

Karin Govani (39) provided the greatest resistance as Upminster replied with 158-8. Sean Healey, Dan Bedford and Williams took two wickets each.

Orsett enjoyed a five-wicket win away to Fives & Heronians after bowling their hosts out for 114 in 30.5 overs.

J Morris (5-31) led the attack, with Jonathan Gordon and Ian Lockyer grabbing a brace each as only Alex McLean (23) prospered for Fives.

Paul Howlett (34), Lockyer (21) and Stuart Quilter (20) led the run chase as Orsett posted 116-5 in reply, with Mohammed Yaseen and Faisal Ghani taking two wickets each.

DIVISION ONE: Billericay defeated hosts Walthamstow by seven wickets after bowling them out for 109.

Philip Reynolds (3-31) and Joe Parsons (3-4) restricted their hosts as only Greg Bonser (25) prospered.

P Haford (56no) anchored the Billericay reply, with Darren Bull adding 26 and Steven Rhoods 18 as they win with 114-3. M Harris Snr claimed 2-25.

Stanford le Hope III travelled to Hadleigh & Thundersley and left with a six-wicket win.

Stephen Stone (56) shone for Hadleigh before they were bowled out for 144.

Neil Fuller (85no) opened for Stanford and masterminded their 145-4 reply, with Jonathan Snelling taking 2-4.

Benfleet hosts Horndon on the Hill and drew after posting 255-8 declared.

John Hearn opened with 65 and Lee Parmenter and David Walker both hit 48, while Chanaka Karu took 3-46.

Martin Pryor (25) and Karu (24) led the run chase as Horndon finished on 202-9. Walker and Hearn took two wickets each.

Southend were unable to raise a side for their match at Brentwood, handing their hosts a 10-wicket win by default.

Other result: Chingford (202-9 dec) drew with Ardleigh Green (90-8).

DIVISION TWO: Leigh on Sea hosted Wanstead but lost by two wickets.

The hosts were put into bat and saw Paul Sibley (34) and Matt Brady (27) help them to 134-9 dec as Ridwan Shaikh, James Fitzgerald and Hamza Shoain took two wickets each.

John Williams led the Wanstead reply, which reached 135-8 despite Ken Sandeman and George Weston taking three wickets each.

Wickford lost at home to Gidea Park & Romford V, who won by 72 runs.

The visitors were bowled out for 172 in 51.5 overs, but Wickford were all back in the pavilion for 100 in 36 overs.
