HULLBRIDGE Sports Youth Football Club, in conjunction with the Essex County Football Association, have set about maximising interest in young girls’ soccer.
It is part of the FA’s 3 Lions Club which aims to start-up a brand new girls’ team for youngsters between school years three to six.
The FA Football Development School-Club Link Programme will be in full force to introduce local young females to the game in a friendly environment, described by ECFA schools and education development officer Lana Bond as: “A great introduction to football where you can learn new skills, have fun and make new friends.”.
The first eight sessions are subsidised by the ECFA football development programme, costing just £1 per week. More information can be obtained by contacting Lana Bond from the ECFA on 01245 393073 or Peter Hanrahan from Hullbridge Sports on 01702 232710.
