PHIL Alderson (8) and Steve Morton (3) retained the Stableford Foursomes Trophy with 39 points from Bernie Braham (9) and John Di’Benedetto (12) with 38.
The father and son combination of Adrian Worthington (5) and son Robert (6) were third on countback from three other pairings with 36 - Perry Lodge and Gary Bromage, Ted Wisbey partnering Neil Perrin and Colin Carlile and Charlie Goodwin.
The ladies at Boyce Hill have had a busy week with Linda Bonnett winning the EWGA medal, returning a net 73.
The next EWGA medal was played in conjunction with the Grandma’s Trophy on a blustery day, Wendy Martin winning both with a net 71.Bonnett capped her recent good form by winning the silver division medal with a net 73 on countback from Hayley Allen and Chris Bugden.
In the bronze division, Martin also continued her recent success, winning with a net 71. Hazel Shrimpton was second with 73, while Norma Pasfield was third with net 78.
