JUNIOR players from David Lloyd Basildon will be flying the flag for Essex when they take on the eastern region’s top tennis teams.
The quartet from the centre on the Festival Leisure Park emerged as Essex champions following an 18-2 win over Harlow LTC in the final of the Aegon Team Tennis Essex Nine and Under competition.
Katie McGarrigle, Toby Dunlea, Harry Hylton and Alexander Groves will go into the easter region finals on Sunday, June 21, at Culford School in Bishop’s Stortford.
The team is coached by Jamie Walker.
