THE X Factor twins John and Edward have been the talk of the country again this week.

And they have also been one of the main talking points at our training ground.

For the strong rumour going around is that they are in fact triplets not twins and the missing brother is our very own Lee Barnard.

Most people think that Barney wasn’t playing at Gillingham in the FA Cup last weekend because he was suspended after picking up five yellow cards but the truth was he was on X-Factor performing Ghostbusters on stage.

To be honest, he’s worse at dancing and singing than them and the only way you can actually tell them apart is because Barney is the only one with the broken nose.

He’s been getting all kinds of stick about it just recently from the lads and really doesn’t like it – so I think it’s only fair I share this with you in the paper!

FRUSTRATION AT FA CUP EXIT

IT was disappointing to lose at Gillingham last weekend in the first round of the cup.

But we had a patched up team and it was always going to be difficult for us.

We had young players being asked to do a job and others out of position so it was certainly far from being ideal.

The defeat means we’re now just concentrating on the league.

And we want to get back to winning ways at Yeovil Town on Saturday.

We have Alan McCormack back from suspension and Lee Barnard back from being on X Factor so that’s a plus as they are two big players for us.

We’ve done well at Yeovil over the last few seasons as well and it would be great to keep that going this weekend.

ZOMBIES AND BAD SINGING

AS everyone knows we have a small squad right now and that has led to a few of the youth players being called up.

That also means they have had to perform a song in front of the first team — it’s part of Blues’ player initiation — and they haven’t all been that good.

Kyle Asante did one and so did Callum Whittaker, but he was rubbish.

It just sounded like he was speaking and his routine was in fact interrupted by one of the lads asking if he had started yet or if he was still on the phone to his mum.

We also had a bit of a Halloween theme party at mine last weekend and a few of them seemed to enjoy dressing up maybe a little bit too much.

Simon Francis and his girlfriend came in matching his and hers zombie costumes and they seemed very sweet.

It was like they had only just met and we were all at a school disco.
