WE HAVE two fantastic games coming up over Christmas and hopefully we can end 2009 on a real high.

We’re looking forward to both matches as we take on Colchester United and Leyton Orient and it would certainly be great to pick up six points.

We were all gutted to lose at Exeter City last Saturday and now want to make the right kind of reaction.

My views on the Colchester game have already been in the Echo this week but I cannot wait for that match.

And it’s the same with the Orient game as we are bound to take plenty of supporters there.

The atmosphere will be brilliant and they’re games we’re desperate to win.

It’s been quite hard to prepare for them properly because of the weather and on Monday there wasn’t too much we could do.

There was no way we could use the pitches at Boots and Laces because they were rock hard so we just had to do a lot of work in the gym.

We’re back outside now though as we’re training at the playfootball.net centre in Prittlewell but it’s the same for most sides at the moment and we will just have to get on with it and do the best we can.
