SWIMMING sensation Jo-Jo Cranfield has broken the S9 long course 1500m freestyle British record.
The Paralympic hopeful, who was raised in Westcliff and now attends Millfield School in Somerset, set the mark, which is still subject to ratification, in an open able bodies meet in Exeter.
Cranfield also swam in a number of other events and took fifth place in the 100m breaststroke.
On top of that she came sixth in the 200m individual medley and 100m butterfly, eighth in the 100m backstroke, 11th in the 100m freestyle and 13th in 50m freestyle.
