SOUTHEND United boss Steve Tilson has made little progress in his search for a new assistant manager.
Tilson’s long term number two Paul Brush was dismissed last March following a 3-0 defeat at Hartlepool United.
He was briefly replaced by David Webb but Tilson ended the season working alone.
And his search for a new permanent assistant continues.
“There is nothing to report on that at the moment,” confirmed Tilson.
