PAUL Sturrock takes his team to Hereford United tomorrow insisting they are not out of form.

Blues have been beaten by Northampton Town and Morecambe in their last two outings.

But Sturrock believes there are signs of promise from Blues.

“I wouldn’t say we were out of form,” said the Scotsman.

“We have naivety which is costing us dear but there was some good stuff played from us in the last two games so there were some positives there too.

“There’s a fine line between winning and losing and we could quite easily have won our last two matches.

“We were competitive despite not being at our best and lost by one goal.

“We’re only inches away from turning things around and being a very, very good team.

However, Sturrock is anxious to soon return to winning ways as he does not want to lose touch with the teams challenging for a place in the top seven.

“We’re not here to be over critical seven games in to a season but we have to start winning games,” said Sturrock.

“We don’t want the gap to big too big and come january we want to be competitive and take things from there but the only way we can do that is to get points on board.”

Blues will again be without skipper Craig Easton who is out for another fortnight with a calf injury.

Mark Phillips and Sofiene Zaaboub are also out but they could be back in training on Monday.
