GREAT Wakering manager Ryan Wilkinson was disappointed with his side’s performance as they were held to a 3-3 draw at Southminster.
Luca Frankis, Billy Johnson and Joe Bright were on the score sheet for Rovers, but Wilkinson said that did not mask a poor display.
He said: “Because they are an Olympian side I don’t think my players showed them enough respect. We should be winning games like that comfortably, so that result is just not good enough.”
It followed Rovers’ 1-1 draw against Essex Senior side Hullbridge Sports on Tuesday.
Rovers went 1-0 down but equalised with a goal from Nathan Dewbury.
It was a bad-tempered affair and a game which Rovers boss Ryan Wilkinson felt had been ruined by some poor decisions from the officials.
Great Wakering (against Southminster): Godwin-Green, Keys, Fletcher, Beale, Aldridge, Salmon, Carlile, Sartain, Frankis, Pindy, Dewbury.
