I THINK our next three league games are all against very dangerous opposition.

We play Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham and Bradford and they are all going to be very difficult games.

First up is Bristol Rovers and they’re a team who I really expected to be up there challenging for promotion this season.

I still think they can turn things around because they have some very good players in their squad.

But they will be hurting after a disappointing home defeat to Barnet last weekend.

They will be wanting to put that right against us and like I keep on saying we certainly can’t afford to go in to the game in an arrogant frame of mind.

We’re in good form though and we’re looking forward to the test.

We were able to see off Preston North End on Tuesday in the FA Cup and it was nice to see Liam Dickinson scoring from open play for the second game in a row.

I actually had a little word with Dicko before the Dagenham game last weekend and I think he’s responded very well.

I’ve been pleased with his work rate and overall performance in the last couple of games and his got his rewards by scoring in both games.

I thought the whole team worked hard against Preston actually and it was needed to help us see off a team who were playing in the Championship last season.

I’m pleased with how everything is going at the moment but I’m experienced to realise things can change quickly in this game and we have to keep on doing what’s required to pick up points.

We also welcome Anthony Grant back from suspension this weekend and it’s good to have him available again.

As a manager you want to have as many players available to pick from as possible and having Granty back will certainly give us options.

There will be plenty to think about when it comes to selecting the team again and we have players now picking up a few yellow cards which is something else we have to think about.

There’s also the injury situation to take in to consideration as we are waiting to find out if Mark Phillips and Peter Gilbert will be available, while Ryan Leonard is also touch and go with the back problem he has.

Whoever is fit, we will come up with something to try and win the game and it would be great to have the fans right behind us again.

The supporters were fantastic who went to Dagenham last Saturday and having so many people there to cheer the team on really did make a difference.

I’d like to thank those fans who came along and would like to think that those same bodies will be at the away games we have coming up at Aldershot and AFC Wimbledon because both of those aren’t that far away either.
