BILEL Mohsni's latest misdemeanour angered the management of Southend United and sections of the supporters as well.

But perhaps, most crucially of all, he also angered his team-mates.

They have been becoming increasingly fed up by the Frenchman's antics for quite some time now and, for them, Tuesday night's red card at Oldham Athletic, may well be the final straw.

Such emotions sparked the bust up at the end of the game and led to Mohsni not travelling back with the rest of the team.

However, the main problem seems to be that the Frenchman just does not learn from the mistakes he keeps on making.

There is no doubting his ability but he lacks any kind of discipline and has now become a liability in the starting line-up.

Against Ipswich Town in pre-season he had be taken off to avoid a red card and Mohsni was then lucky to avoid being sacked by Southend following an amazing bust up at the end of the Carling Cup defeat to Leyton Orient.

But, instead of that bucking up his ideas, Mohsni then also went on to clash with players from Port Vale which earned the club a £1,000 fine from the Football Association.

Further incidents followed against Swindon Town twice and Macclesfield Town and he has already been shown two red and eight yellow cards this season.

Away from matches, there have also been outbursts at the training ground and all this leaves Paul Sturrock with having to make the biggest decision of his spell in charge of Southend.

If he decides to let Mohsni depart then he could anger the club's fan base who have taken the Frenchman to their hearts because of his passion.

But if opts to stick with him then he risks having a divided dressing room and one which may then feel that they can also get away with misbehaving.
