THE heavy hitters of the Delphi British Truck Racing Championship thunder into Brands Hatch this weekend (21-22 April) for one of the Kent venue’s most popular family events, and we’ve teamed up with our friends at the circuit to offer three winners a pair of tickets for the weekend!

Last year’s double header of events were spectacular to say the least with superb racing and incidents aplenty on the short Indy circuit, and the brave racers will be going all out to match that this time around.

These trucks can remarkably out-drag a Porsche 911 to 100mph and corner with astonishing agility, more often than not with the rear dragging behind in a spectacular power slide! The sight of these leviathans plunging into Paddock Hill Bend is something to behold.

Kent-based brothers Steven, Graham and John Powell from West Kingsdown are set to feature and will be hoping to give 2011 champion Dave Jenkins a run for his money!

Such is the draw of the event that Dutch drivers Cees Zandbergen, Marco Donk and newcomer Frans Smit will all make the journey to Brands especially for the race.

A total of four scintillating truck races will take place on the Sunday, and with a superb support package including saloon cars, pickup trucks, Caterhams and the comparatively miniscule Legends, there really is something for all tastes!

The Brands Hatch Indy circuit is located entirely within a natural amphitheatre, meaning unrivalled views are possible from all round the venue.

With seven hours of action on raceday, trucks at Brands Hatch is a superb value for money day out for all the family, with free admission for children aged 12 and under.

Tickets are available in advance for just £17 with free admission for children aged 12 and under. For more information visit www.brandshatch.co.uk or call 0843 453 9000.
