THE few in attendance witnessed a dire game of football as Concord lost for the second time in a week.

The hosts, led by the impressive Duran Reynolds, took the lead courtesy of some poor Concord defending which allowed Jake Gallagher to stroke home from close range.

The lead was doubled shortly after when keeper Nicky Eyre and full-back Ashley Miller both failed to take responsibility to deal with a through ball, leaving Staforde Palmer to apply the finishing touch.

Concord struggled to create as they registered just four attempts on goal — and all failed to hit the target.

And their their day was further dampened as the Met added a third late on. Eyre stopped a low cross but could only deflect it into the path of Gallagher, and he accepted the gift.
