SOUTHEND United boss Paul Sturrock has made just one change to his starting line-up for this evening’s play off clash at Crewe Alexandra with Kane Ferdinand coming back in to the team.
He replaces Freddy Eastwood as Southend again revert to the 4-5-1 formation they have used in their last few away games.
The rest of the side remains unchanged with Cameron Belford fit to continue in goal despite suffering a dead leg against Macclesfield Town last Saturday.
His understudy Glenn Morris has been selected among the substitutes but there is no place in the squad for David Martin.
Southend United: Belford, Clohessy, Phillips, Barker, Gilbert, Mohsni, Grant, Timlin, Hall, Ferdinand, Harris
Substitutes: Morris, Prosser, Leonard, Benyon & Eastwood
