Paul Sturrock - selected an unchanged starting line-up

First published in Sport by

SOUTHEND United manager Paul Sturrock has named an unchanged starting line-up on his return to Plymouth Argyle this afternoon.

That means Daniel Bentley will continue in goal as Paul Smith is not yet ready to come back from the concussion he suffered against Gillingham 11 days ago.

David Martin also remains on the left flank while Elliot Benyon partners Britt Assombalonga in attack with Freddy Eastwood on the bench despite scoring a late winner against Exeter City last weekend.

But Mark Phillips and Gavin Tomlin are both absent with groin injuries. Southend United: Bentley, Clohessy, Cresswell, Prosser, Barker, Hurst, Timlin, Spicer, Martin, Benyon, Assombalonga

Substitutes: Straker, Coughlan, Eastwood, Corr, Leonard, Woodyard & T Smith
