BRADFORD City boss Phil Parkinson felt his side deserved more than a share of the spoils against Southend United at Valley Parade.

The Bantams fought back from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw.

But Parkinson was aggravated by two decisions made by the match officials which he felt cost City all three points.

“As normal, you don't get a chance to view replays of incidents from games before coming up to do the press but I feel we should have had another goal today and maybe even a penalty,” said Parkinson.

"From where I was stood, the offside goal I felt was the wrong call and I also felt we had a shout for a penalty with Reidy towards the end.”

However, referee Steve Rushton adjudged Kyel Reid to have dived inside the penalty area while under pressure from Blues' defender Sean Clohessy.

And that disappointed Parkinson.

"They are big calls from the referee and it is a shame one of the calls didn't go for us because I felt we deserved all three points with our play in the second half,” he added.
