Gary Deegan - set for more talks with Phil Brown about his future at Southend United
SOUTHEND United boss Phil Brown will hold more contract talks with midfielder Gary Deegan tomorrow.
The 27-year-old Irishman has yet to agree a new deal with the Shrimpers.
But Brown hopes to be able to resolve the situation in the next few days.
“I’ll be meeting with Gary and his representatives on Tuesday,” said Brown.
“Hopefully we can sort out a new contract very soon.”
