SOUTHEND United’s under 21 coach Dale Brooks has left the club just two months into the job, Echosport understands.
Brooks’ departure is believed to have occurred before Blues were beaten 6-0 at Exeter City in the first qualifying round of the Premier League Cup on Monday night.
But the Shrimpers have yet to confirm Brooks’ departure and it is not yet known if they will be appointing a replacement.
