SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has made two changes to his starting line-up for this afternoon’s clash at Gillingham.
Gary Deegan has returned in midfield in place of Michael Timlin who misses out after suffering a nasty clash of heads in training yesterday.
The other alteration sees Stephen McLaughlin come in for Myles Weston who drops down onto the bench where he is joined by David Worrall.
Luke O’Neill has also been selected among the substitutes but there is no place in the squad for Kevan Hurst.
Southend United: Bentley, White, Bolger, Prosser, Coker, Leonard, Deegan, Wordsworth, McLaughlin, Mooney, Pigott
Substitutes: Worrall, Payne, Atkinson, T Smith, Weston, Rea & O’Neill
