SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has confirmed his recent flurry of loan signings will result in players having to leave the club.
Brown has already brought in Tyrone Barnett, Stephen Hendrie, Sam McQueen and Glen Kamara during the January transfer window.
And that seems likely to result in other squad members having to leave Roots Hall.
“I have earmarked two or three in my own head who could leave,” confirmed Brown.
“There are a couple of obvious ones everyone can second guess I suppose but I’m not going to divulge them publically.
“I want to keep things in house and keep this group tight.
“If I suddenly say who can go then all of a sudden I think you get a bad atmosphere and a bad environment but one or two will have to go out”
