SOUTHEND United will travel 1,058 less miles in League One next season.
Blues travelled 8,246 miles last term but the next campaign will see Phil Brown’s side spending less time on the road.
Wigan Athletic, Burton Albion and Barnsley were all promoted from League One last term while Blackpool, Doncaster Rovers, Colchester United and Crewe Alexandra were relegated.
In their place Bolton Wanderers, MK Dons and Charlton Athletic will now line up in League One next season after being relegated from the Championship.
Northampton Town, Oxford United, Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon will also feature after winning promotion from League Two.
As a result, Blues will travel 7, 188 miles in total next season.
