Disrupted travel - for Blues boss Phil Brown
SOUTHEND United’s players completed the final leg of their journey to Fleetwood Town in taxis for this afternoon’s League One clash.
The coach which had been due to pick the squad up from Preston train station failed to arrive and the matchday squad - who have now arrived at the Highbury Stadium - were forced to take things into their own hands.
Boss Phil Brown said: “I’m just glad to have got in time after the travel plans went a bit AWOL.
“But we’re looking forward to the game now."
