SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown is to decide the future of his nine out of contract players this week.
Defenders John White, Adam Thompson and Anton Ferdinand, midfielders Luke O’Neill, Michael Timlin and Will Atkinson, winger Zavon Hines and strikers David Mooney and Frank Nouble have all come to the end of their current deals at Roots Hall.
And Brown will be talking to them and all other members of his Shrimpers squad in the next few days.
“I’ll be meeting with all the players this week to talk things through and that includes the ones who are out of contract,” said the Blues boss, whose side just missed out on the play-offs.
“I’ve got some difficult decisions to make but that’s always the case at this time of year.”
