ECHOSPORT talks to Rotherham United fan Patrick Ramskill ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the New York Stadium.

Two games into the season what have been your early impressions?

“After a very promising pre-season, with eight wins from nine, hopes were high of a good start. But Fleetwood thoroughly deserved their 2-0 win on the opening day.

“We looked nervous and lacking in confidence but the cup win against Lincoln was hard fought and just about deserved.”

What are Rotherham’s hopes for this season?

“The club’s hope for the season would be to be challenging for the top six at least but mine personally is just to be competitive again after an awful year last season.”

Have there been many changes to the squad following last season’s relegation from the Championship?

“The squad had to change over the summer. Our only quality players Danny Ward and Lee Camp left for Cardiff and we did well to offload some dead wood. The eight players that have come in seem to be very good additions.”

Who will be the main threats in the Rotherham team?

“Ryan Williams looks quality but didn’t start last week so he may be 50/50 for Saturday. Hopefully Jamie Proctor, who scored on Tuesday, will be the biggest threat and hopes are high that David Ball will be a threat.

Predicted line-up: O’Donnell, Emmanuel, Ihekwe, Ajayi, Mattock, Williams/Forde, Frecklington, Vaulks/Potter, Taylor, Ball, Proctor
