SOUTHEND United will be fielding a strong side for this evening’s Essex Senior Cup clash at Billericay Town.
Blues boss Phil Brown has confirmed Jermaine McGlashan, Theo Robinson, Dru Yearwood, Elvis Bwomono, Jack Bridge and Michael Klass will all be in action at the AGP Arena.
And Brown believes the game will be a stern test for his players.
“It will be a good game for our young players and we also have one or two seniors who need the minutes, so they will be playing too,” said Brown “Billericay are doing really well this season and I think it will be a good game.”
Blues have not won in the Essex Senior Cup since beating Hullbridge Sports in the 2012/13 season.
