Kane Ferdinand - unable to stop Ireland losing
BLUES midfielder Kane Ferdinand was unable to stop Republic of Ireland losing 2-1 to the Czech Republic in the under 19 European Championships this afternoon.
Ferdinand came on for goalscorer John O’Sullivan in the 57th minute but the Czechs fought back from being a goal behind to triumph.
Ireland must now beat Romania on Tuesday if they are to advance to the semi-finals.
