IT certainly isn’t getting any easier when it comes to picking the team at the moment.

Ryan Hall, Bilel Mohsni and Anthony Grant were all on the bench at Crewe last weekend and they reacted fantastically well to being left out.

Their attitude since then has also been spot on and they all made a real impact when they came on.

I now have to consider whether the time is right to make changes and to bring one of them back in.

But it would be difficult to tell someone I’m leaving them out after they’ve been in a starting line-up which has won six matches in a row.

It’s a very difficult situation and one which will require plenty of careful consideration.

We also have Lee Sawyer coming back in to the equation after he played for the reserves against Stevenage.

It was frustrating that Lee was out for so long with the thigh injury he picked up because he was playing well and it took a lot longer to get better than we first thought.

He looked bright on Tuesday though but I think he will probably need another reserve game before he’s really back fully fit.

It’s a nice problem to have and we really do have more strength in depth this season.

Last year, injuries and suspensions hit us hard towards the end.

But right now we have plenty of options and Barry Corr remains the only injury we have.

He’s making quite slow progress from his knee injury which is frustrating and there’s no timescale of when we think he might be back.

It’s a shame because he did very well last season but thankfully the team is picking up good results at the moment and confidence is very high indeed.

I think that first stemmed from winning 4-0 at Rotherham at the end of September.

We had won our previous two games before going there but that day we played very well indeed and were missing Hall and Grant who were both suspended.

Things have continued to go well since then and when that happens you try and keep the preparation the same.

You don’t want to change anything because you fear it might upset the apple cart.

Despite the good form, we did decide to take a look at a couple of trialists in the reserves.

Krisztian Timar came in to play as centre-back and Yannick Boli played up front.

I will think more about them over the weekend, when hopefully we will also be able to get another three points against Morecambe.

But like I keep on saying, people must realise this is going to be a very difficult game
