SOUTHEND United have worked their way to the top of the League Two table with a fantastic run of results.

And, as they continue their push for promotion, you could be at every home game from the turn of the new year.

We have two half-season cards to give away to one lucky Echosport reader.

But the club’s chief executive Tara Brady hopes fans will also be flocking to purchase the season cards.

“It was fantastic when the stadium was full for the Morecambe match and it would be great if we could have the ground like that more regularly,” said Brady.

“The team are having a fantastic season and have done brilliantly to get to the top of the league but there is still a very long way to go.

“Having more fans at the matches would really increase the chances of success because the supporters really do make a difference when they get behind the team.

“That’s why we’re hoping fans will be keen to buy the half-season cards.”

The half-season card entitles a supporter to entry to 12 matches in League Two, starting from the home clash against Dagenham & Redbridge at the beginning of January.

Adult prices are £190, which gives fans two games for free when compared to the standard match-by-match prices.

As a season card holder, the supporter’s seat is guaranteed at Roots Hall and card holders also get first priority for any high-demand games, both home and away.

Seniors, students and young people can purchase half-season cards for £115, with juniors costing £75 and those under eight just £20.

In the family stand, adult prices are £150 with juniors priced at £30.
