LIAM Dickinson has confirmed he is leaving Southend United.

As was reported in yesterday’s Echosport, the 26-year-old has not been offered a new deal at Roots Hall.

And the striker was keen to thank Blues’ fans for their support.

He wrote on Twitter: “Big thanks all the SUFC fans for all your support this season. Really enjoyed my time at Roots Hall but unfortunately it’s time for me to move on.”

Dickinson scored 12 goals in 37 games for Southend before his season ended prematurely after he suffered a broken ankle against Crawley Town in February.
