DIVISION ONE: Hadleigh & Thundersley will be looking to get their title charge back on track tomorrow.

Hadleigh remain top of the table despite losing their last two games.

And skipper Richard Revell is now keen for his side to get back to winning ways when they face a key clash at third placed Orsett & Thurrock this weekend.

“We are hoping to turn around what has been a frustrating few weeks and remain at the top of the table by getting back to winning ways against Orsett,” said Revell.

“Unfortunately we suffered a few late injuries last weekend which certainly didn’t help us.

“But the guys are all back fit now, so we’re looking forward to getting out there again at the weekend for what is another big game.”

Despite suffering back-to-back defeats, Hadleigh are six points clear of second placed Buckhurst Hill with four games still to play this season.

Orsett sit third, eight points behind Hadleigh, and Revell is expecting them to be tricky opponents tomorrow.

“Orsett are having a good season, so we know it will be a big test,” said Revell.

“It’s an important game but it’s one to be excited about.”

Fourth placed Billericay are also pushing for promotion.

Lee Knight’s side - who came up from Division Two last term - sit just three points behind Buckhurst Hill and nine points adrift of Hadleigh.

Billericay will now be looking to close that gap when they travel to sixth placed Belhus this weekend aiming for a second win in succession.
