EAST THURROCK UNITED COACH JOE KEITH RUNS THROUGH THE EAST THURROCK SIDE WHO WILL BE AIMING TO MAKE HISTORY AT HARTLEPOOL UNITED TOMORROW.
DAVID HUGHES (GOALKEEPER): He is a quiet lad but loves playing football. He is the only one I know will be at training.
SIMON PEDDIE (DEFENDER): Not a good dress sense - especially in his string vest but one of the nicest in the game TOM STEPHEN (DEFENDER): The best left back in the league. He is coming on very well as a captain too.
BEN WOOD (DEFENDER): For some reason he gets better with age. So fit and would be fitter if he came to training.
PAUL GOODACRE (DEFENDER): New to the club but has been excellent. A big reason is why we are doing so well.
CONNOR WITHERSPOON (DEFENDER): He’s having a great season but he has a problem with keeping his shirt on.
RYAN SAMMONS (DEFENDER): He has been so reliable for us. He has been in and out of the side but always does well.
NICK SYMONS (MIDFIELDER): A lunatic and always doing something stupid but a terrific midfielder.
REECE HARRIS (MIDFIELDER): Joined recently but has impressed me a lot. Works hard for the team.
MITCHELL GILBEY (MIDFIELDER): Gilbs loves himself. He spends all his time in front of the mirror but has come on a lot this season.
DAVID BRYANT (MIDFIELDER): You would think he was 60 the way he moans but he always does well, in any position.
ROSS PARMENTER (MIDFIELDER): The most big time I have met. Calls himself ‘Pirlo’ but a very important player.
LEWIS SMITH (ATTACKER): Lewis is more big time than Parms! Anything can happen when he has the ball and is exciting.
SAM HIGGINS (ATTACKER): If Covo took away his goal bonus of a Mars bar he wouldn’t score half as many!
TOM ANDERSON (DEFENDER) AND JOE PAXMAN (DEFENDER): These two can go as one as they never leave each other’s sides. Good players but are mixing with Gilbey too much so often admire their reflections!
