CONCORD Rangers’ bid to retain the Essex Senior Cup will be given a severe test tonight as they travel to Dagenham & Redbridge in the quarter-finals.
The Beach Boys, who lost 1-0 at St Albans City on Saturday, travel to Victoria Road hoping to repeat the success from their last visit to the ground, when they won the trophy last April.
But Dagenham, the only Football League side remaining in the competition, will fancy their chances of making it into the semi-finals and are likely to play a number of first-team players, as they do not play again until next Tuesday.
Concord, who won at Dagenham in October 2012, may be without Joe Gardner for the game, which kicks off at 7:30pm.
