EAST Thurrock United beat Margate 2-0 in their FA Trophy third qualifying round replay at the FutureFuel Stadium.

The two teams drew 1-1 in the first meeting in Kent but Rocks had no such problems on Tuesday night as Tom Wraight fired them in front after 57 minutes.

Sam Higgins then completed the scoring with a stunning strike from 25 yards just six minutes from time.

Rocks will now host National League side Aldershot in the next round of the competition.

Boss John Coventry said: "It's a nice tie for us and we can look forward to it now."
