l THE MATCH: Early-leaders Truro City are the visitors to Concord Rangers tomorrow, with the home side looking to rectify their recent form against the Cornwall-based side.

It is almost a year to the day since Concord welcomed Truro to the Aspect Arena, with Truro winners that day.

In fact, Truro have won both encounters in Essex since their promotion, something the Beach Boys will be determined to change tomorrow.

A 1-0 victory against Hemel Hempstead Town has buoyed confidence, with the performance matching the result.

Truro have hit three goals in each of their opening victories, claiming a 3-0 win on the road in their midweek outing at Gloucester City.

Can Concord make it back-to-back home wins for the first time since January?

l THE INSIGHT: “Confidence will be restored after a good win against Hemel but we know Truro are an improved team from last season,” said boss Adam Flanagan.

“They are unbeaten in the first two games, scoring six goals, so we know it will be a very tough game.

“While the journey is a long one for them I don’t think it will take anything away from their performance as this is their third season in the division now so they will be familiar with the travelling.

“Over the last two seasons they have gained maximum points on the road against us so we need to correct that tomorrow.”

l THE TEAM NEWS: Concord are hoping striker Steve Cawley recovers from a slight knock sustained on Tuesday.
