CONCORD Rangers were condemned to a 2-0 defeat at Truro City.
Cody Coode and Ed Palmer scored the all-important goals, which resulted in Adam Flanagan’s side being unable to build on their impressive win over Hampton & Richmond Borough last time out.
The visitors were caught cold following the long journey to Cornwall as Truro took the lead inside 20 seconds.
Cooke headed a Connor Riley-Lowe cross beyond Beach Boys goalkeeper Louis Wells and into the back of the net to give Flanagan’s charges an uphill battle early on.
Concord created a couple of half-chances, while Tyler Harvey’s deflected effort was well dealt with by Wells.
The Beach Boys were to fall further behind inside half an hour when Palmer curled home a free-kick.
Concord continued to create chances after the break and were the better side for large spells.
Lewis Knight headed over the crossbar and Truro’s defence stood firm as their clean sheet remained intact.
Concord Rangers: Wells, Girdlestone, Brown, Topley (Littlejohn), Roast, Knight, Taaffe, Freeman, Akinwande, Cawley, Greenhalgh (Ighorae)
