THE revolving door at Upton Park is set to go into overdrive during the next few days as a host of players move in and out of the club.

Yossi Benayoun's long-awaited switch to Liverpool has been agreed and should be completed within the next 24 hours.

The Israeli international captain is likely to be followed out of the Boleyn Ground by Marlon Harewood and Paul Konchesky, who are expected to join Wigan Athletic and Birmingham City respectively.

While the trio head for pastures new, three new faces could soon be pulling on the claret and blue shirt.

Cypriot forward Ioannis Okkas is on trial at the club, while Ghana international Stephen Appiah has demanded his current club, Turkish side Fenerbahce, allow him to speak to the Irons.

Finally, Alan Curbishley has admitted he is in the market for a new striker to replace the recently-departed Teddy Sheringham and Kepa Blanco.

It is the departure of Benayoun, however, that will make the biggest headlines.

The 27-year-old, who has 50 international caps, looked set to sign a new five-year contract with the Hammers in May - saying he was "very pleased to have agreed this new deal" and that the club had the "best supporters in England".

However, a week later, it emerged that Benayoun had not signed the deal.

It has since emerged that the former Maccabi Haifa star saw his future with the UEFA Champions League finalists.

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry confirmed: "We've agreed the fee with West Ham for Yossi Benayoun."

Reds manager Rafa Benitez added: "Yossi said he was desperate to only join Liverpool because this was his dream."

The player, who joined the Irons from Spanish side Racing Santander for £2.5million in June 2005, scored eight goals in 63 appearances for the East Enders.

Benayoun's midfield place could go to Appiah, who has told ghanaweb.com of his desire to move to London.

"If West Ham have expressed strong interest in me then I think Fenerbahce will have to listen to their offer," said the former Juventus star, 26, who was an ever-present in the Black Stars' 2006 World Cup campaign.

"It is public knowledge that I want to move to England in the interest of the education of my kids, who still live in Italy because of their education."

Meanwhile, boss Curbishley has indicated that his spending may not be over.

"We're still in the market if we feel there's a player out there that can improve us," he confirmed.
